Mini Pavlova

Holy Terrible Second Camera Quality, Batman! We filmed this episode with two cell phone cameras, one of which is clearly better than the other. Also, recording voiceovers used to make me SO self conscious: see if you can spot the exact moment that Josh came home during my recording!

To make whipped cream: Stick your mixing bowl and beater into the freezer for about 20 minutes. Pour 1.5 cups whipping cream, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 tbsp powdered sugar, and some citrus zest into the bowl (once it’s no longer in the freezer), and beat on medium-high until you’ve got whipped cream. Homemade whipped cream is SO much better than the thin, overly-sweet stuff you get at the store. Seriously, give it a shot.

As for the meringues themselves, I’m pretty sure I just used the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook recipe. So. Yeah.
